All applicants are to follow our membership application procedure which applies to all types of memberships (Rider, Pillion, Country member, Inter chapter membership):

• The person applying for membership must possess a Harley Davidson motor cycle (accept for a pillion).
• Membership application:  Visit Steelwings Pretoria’s web page www.steelwings.co.za , complete and send the membership application form on line.
• The applicant would we contacted by the President or Vice-President once the application has been processed and invited to attend an open meeting
• Pay annual membership:

1.   R650 for:              Regular, Pillion, Inter Chapter membership
2.   R450 for:              Country membership (outside a 100km radius around Pretoria)
     This membership fee is proportionally refundable if not accepted into the club.
3.   R280.00                Admin fee (Colours – stays property of the club)
4.   R  70.00                Name badge

• Attend one open meeting (first Wednesday of each month) introduce him/herself to fellow members attending and motivate why he/she would like to join Steelwings Pretoria.
• Join us for 2 rides: We have 2 Sunday rides per month.
• One out-ride (normally a Saturday & Sunday trip) e.g.: Panty & Toothbrush, once again exposing him/herself to our chapter and its members in the practical sense (riding and socializing with our members)
• Must make him/herself acquainted with our constitution, rules of conduct, riding code and disciplinarily code 
• Once completing the procedures above the committee will send an email to all members, requesting their commentary with regards to accepting a new member, reasons must be given if they do not accept the new member
• The committee would make the final decision with regards to acceptance of the new member and also notify the person with regards to his/her acceptance of non-acceptance.
• On the following open meeting, his/her acceptance to Steelwings Pretoria   would be on the agenda, he/she would receive their colors, a registration fee of R310 would be charged (this is for colors, badge, registration etc).

Should a member omit to pay his/her membership for a year and wish to take up membership again in the following year, said member has to adhere to all New Member Application procedures as stipulated above, again.  Also note, the year of absence then automatically falls away and would not count towards a member's years of membership.
